Goals
Short-Term
After finishing graduate school and obtaining my RD license, I would like to start out working in an inpatient setting in a hospital. Clinical nutrition is the backbone of the dietetics field and it is important to me that I build a strong clinical background before pursuing other career options. When I start my internship in August 2025, I am excited to discover if there are any specialty credentials I would like to work towards obtaining.
Long-Term
As I mentioned, my passion for nutrition stemmed from my love of being in the kitchen. Pictured on the right is recipe testing that I took the initiative to do while preparing for the ACES Family Academies event that I hosted. A dream job or dream personal pursuit is to work on developing my own cookbook one day. I want to demonstrate food can both taste good and be good for you.
